So, what exactly happened in Mithos's heart? (Yes, I'm going to read it, but it's more fun to hear it from you first.)

WELL

IT WAS ALL GOING WELL

THERE WERE FROGS AND TINY CUTE MITHOS AND FROGS HAPPENED AND IT WAS CUTE

Then Knife found Mithos's representation of Resolution and profoundly mistook it for his representation of guilt. With that small mistake in working out how his heart worked, came a whole tumult of holy shit what just. Knife has a huge superiority complex, which does not rear its ugly head too often because she doesn't get it all over people but certainly does come into play in this one sentiment: "I can handle that". She wanted to get into the cage to help Mithos, she damn well was going to.

So she touched Mithos's grief cage and . . . died . . . which harmed Resolution a lot and freaked him the fuck out and he knows someone died in there so it is the mystery of who it was. And then after that she found his actual representation of Guilt and ... put on its bangles and let it out and turned it into a GUILT DRAGON. She sorted out her part of that, but was complicit in the bit that means Mithos is currently not feeling remorse :Ba and then she had a massive temper tantrum on Mithos's heart version of Lloyd who is nowhere near as good at handling her as actual Lloyd because Mithos's version actually tried reason. And then she talked to Mithos's true heart about not wanting to have a human body anymore and it shared Mithos's world healing memory with her and she cried a lot ... the end.

It was a lot of fun! Lots of work, but utterly worth it. Lots of great moments, too. Ferris and Ryner selling the boots for ice-cream. Natsume just... staying with a part of Roxas that really needed it and talking. Jade being adorable. (He'll never live that down.)

How's Knife dealing with the move?

She's fine with it. She doesn't like being hungry, though she finds when she eats less her booze goes further. Otherwise it's okay. She doesn't have serious thoughts, she's okay wherever she is.

How are Roxas and Axel gettin' along?

Roxas really likes this younger Axel - or Lea as the case may be. He's seen him in Ven's memory already, and generally finds him a great guy. He's a little sad and jealous that Axel and Saix remember Ven and not him, but he's not letting it get any say in how he acts, since Jealousy Is Creepy. Three's heart is a good way to learn that lesson. He knows they're going to have to deal with some issues eventually, since last he knows, Axel was pretty angry with him, but he's given Axel the heads-up about it and is more than willing to deal with things as they come.

Does Knife have a general attitude regarding her teammates acquiring canonmates, or is it always case-by-case?

She's okay with it, though her conclusion does sometimes end up being sideeye. Sasuke and Itachi, sideeye. Bonten and Tsukuyusa, sideeye. Mostly on the way her teammates deal with their people rather than the people themselves, there hasn't been a single canonmate of her teammates that she hasn't liked herself |DD it does feed her loneliness a little bit sometimes because I think nearly all of her CR has an important person from their world except. Natsume. But on the other hand she still does think she doesn't intrinsically deserve happiness so. lol.

All the hugs for Knife. If only I played a huggy character. :(

What, specifically, makes her sideeye those two sets of relationships?

Rampant obsessive brotherly unhealthiness and Bonten's horrible Ginshu-related decision making.

How would Roxas be as a knight?

As he is now, he'd be a very good knight. He'd miss his team too much to be truly happy at it, but like if for some reason all of Emerald got booked tonight - THAT WAS NOT A SUGGESTION - it would be a good place for him. He'd go out of his way to help the teams, bond with other knights, and try to make it to as many games as possible.

As I started him in Aather, he'd have been a terrible knight. Too much of a blank slate and not enough attachment to Aather/the idea of protecting it. Somewhere in the last major plot event, he's actually developed a good bit of both.

Does Knife think Roxas and Ven have unhealthy brotherly obsessiveness at all, or does she see them as mostly/entirely healthy?
