Knife intrigues Jaina -- likewise because of their many similarities. Strangely, for someone whose life is so shaped by her connection to the Force, Jaina doesn't really care about learning more about KK's abilities. She wants to know all the things about the technology from where KK is from! Would gladly spend all day just chilling with her, tinkering, and/or geeking over designs. In Jaina's mind, mechanical projects are a great way to spend time and bond with your friends! So doing things like asking KK to collaborate with her on water heater designs is a good time.

That KK and Mitchell interact with each other is somewhere on the edge of her awareness, but it's pretty much limited to...she's kind of curious how much Mitchell tells Knife about her or how much is picked up psychically. And she's vaguely aware that for some reason there's a thing between Mitchell and Knife where apparently Mitchell feels like he can't ask her for help anymore? Jaina does not get this, because KK seems like a perfectly helpful lady, and Jaina is a believer in the concept that good friends are absolutely for recruiting to help out with things. She does that with her friends/boyfriends in canon, and she expects them to do it right back.

She is completely unaware of any other connections/background Knife has with Iolite, and has a poor enough sense of Iolite as a team that she wouldn't stop to consider whether or not she figures into anyone's impression of the group.

She has a bottle of Corellian ale and soon will have the supplies for Iolite's water heater. Once she has that, she hopes to grab KK for her own special version of a girl's night out. XD

Other main self-indulgent question -- so beyond the summary that Jaina's good for Mitchell, how does KK view Jaina/Mitchell? (AFTERTHOUGHT, possibly more interesting question if you prefer: talk to me about Knife and Jacen? I completely missed their interactions when he was here and have been curious.)

Her opinion is that she's good for him and he needs somebody to encourage him and so on. She doesn't have detailed thoughts beyond that except she would ideally prefer Mitchell not think arduously about having sex with Jaina while sitting right next to her because well that's awkward. As far as she's concerned his lovelife is mostly his business unless he wants to talk about it.

As far as Knife and Jacen were concerned, they only had a few conversations, one of which had a big power comparison in it and also a big discussion on political morality. So that is how she knew about the Force and him and his attitudes and so on. She quite liked him, really.

Uhhhhh I dunno. Jaina's loading herself up with engineering projects! Aside from that, I guess I'd like to see her get herself a proper weapon and show off some Jedi swordsmanship, and a long long time into the future maybe canon update her with Fate of the Jedi which will give her all the awkward "oh I'm getting married wait no I broke it off wait we're engaged-ish again? MOM AND DAD I'M TRYING TO HAVE SEX QUIT CALLING ME. Why am I having a discussion with my uncle about how I figured sex out you really shouldn't use me as an example for healthy relationships when you're giving your son The Talk. Kyle Katarn are you seriously going to wait for me to say please before you untangle me from this tazer net?!"
